Active Health Presents £2098 to Alzheimer’s Society Following Successful Festive Fundraising Campaign

IMG 1153 Physiotherapy Holywood, Bangor

Active Health is proud to announce the successful handover of a £2098 donation to Alzheimer’s Society, raised through their festive fundraising efforts during December.

The funds were raised through a variety of initiatives, including:

  • A (non)Active Health Christmas Movie Night at Avenue Cinema, Belfast, where attendees enjoyed a festive film and a fun night out for a good cause.
  • A lively in-clinic raffle, with an array of fantastic prizes donated by local businesses.
  • Donation buckets placed throughout the Active Health clinic, encouraging spontaneous contributions from clients and visitors.
  • A dedicated JustGiving page for online donations, allowing those unable to attend events to contribute to the campaign.

Rachel Saligari, Owner of Active Health, expressed her gratitude for the success of the campaign, saying:

“It was a pleasure to work with Alzheimer’s Society this year for our annual charity campaign. The work they do in Northern Ireland, supporting those living with dementia and providing hope for the future is fantastic. We’re thrilled to have been able to contribute, and we’re deeply grateful to all our wonderful clients and the many local businesses that supported the fundraising efforts.”

Jenay McCartan, Regional Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society thanked Active Health for their support;

“We are so grateful that Active Health gave their time to support Alzheimer’s Society and would like to thank all the staff and customers who gave so generously to make this donation possible. Each hour people generously give to fundraise for us, every event they take part in, every pound they donate, they’re making a life-changing difference to people living with dementia”.
