What?: 12 Days of Fitmas Step Challenge

Info: Active Health is fundraising for Aware NI and we’d love you to join us in an independent step challenge with a group walk to finish!

When?: 29th Nov – 10th Dec

This year we are hosting a 12-Day Step Count Challenge.

This 12-day challenge would see you aim for a minimum daily step count, accumulating each day;

Starting easy on:Day 1 with a minimum aim of 1000 steps;Day 2: 2000 steps…Day 6: 6000 steps etc.We’ll finish the challenge on December 10th (Day 12) where we invite you to come and meet the Active Health team at Helen’s Bay Car Park and join us for a Festive Walk to complete our final days step challenge of 12000 steps (approximately 9.5km)!

As well as the Christmas period being physically challenging for many people it is also a difficult time to maintain mental wellbeing: A poll in March 23 reports that 70% of adults in NI have reported mental health difficulties in the past 12 months. Therefore, this year we will be raising money for AwareNI a great, local, mental health charity.

Sign up here to join the challenge – scroll to Dec 10th and join that event – we’ll then send you an email with all the info you need!
