Our Essential level classes are ideal for beginners or those with injury, wanting a safe and effective class experience to build a solid Pilates foundation. We will focus on form and alignment to help you master the Pilates fundamentals, so that you can get the most out of your workout as you become more advanced. The class is designed to move your body through all planes of motion to strengthen, lengthen and tone your body. These classes are ideal for all fitness levels and as Pilates is an adaptable form of exercise, our expert instructors can easily provide modifications for those with limitations.

This class is a step up from Essential Pilates and aimed at those with some prior Pilates experience. You will build on the basic fundamentals of Essential Pilates, developing your core strength and progressing through more functional movements, improving your overall strength and fitness. Under the care of our expert teachers you will develop awareness of healthy postural alignment; long, strong and flexible muscles and stability in your spine. This class is ideal for general health and fitness but can also be used to enhance athletic performance and prevent injuries.

Reformer Pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment which allows for a more dynamic and targeted work out. This amazing piece of equipment helps you to find length and space in the body while under spring tension. Assistance from the apparatus progresses your ability to elongate the spine, joints and muscles which then leads to greater flexibility, strength, stamina and a more balanced posture. This dynamic class advances all the benefits of Mat Pilates as well as challenging your cardiovascular fitness.

Barre is a hybrid workout incorporating elements of Pilates, yoga and strength training focusing on small, intense movements that push muscles to the point of fatigue whilst getting a good aerobic workout. Like Pilates, Barre is kind on the joints making it accessible for people of any age or fitness ability. To help with balance the Barre is used as a prop allowing increased focus on toning and strengthening through higher repetitions of small range of motion movements.
What do I need? Normal exercise clothes, barefeet
Who can try barre? Anyone can try Barre, even those who have chronic or recent injuries such as back or knee pain.
Do I need dance training or ballet experience? No, no legwarmers or leotards required!
