Shaun Rodgers

Shaun is originally from Donegal and joins Active Health after graduating in 2019 from UUJ with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. Since graduating, Shaun has worked both in the hospital and sports setting gaining experience across a variety of disciplines including medical physiotherapy, respiratory, stroke rehab, community care and working with the Irish Football Association where he is the Lead Physiotherapist for the UEFA Academy.

After graduating in 2019 and while working clinically, Shaun undertook and completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine. His keen interest in all things musculoskeletal and sports came from his experience playing football from a young age. He has now hung up his boots (for now), focusing more on helping those with various injuries through a combination of manual techniques like soft tissue release, joint mobilisations, taping, muscle energy techniques and individual rehabilitation programs with exercises specific to his patients’ needs.
