Caroline graduated from UUJ in 2003 and worked in private practice in Belfast city centre for 6 years where she gained experience and developed her podiatric skills. Caroline loves to travel and in 2009 set off back packing around the world for a year. On her return home to Northern Ireland she began working in a busy private Podiatry clinic in west Belfast becoming a senior Podiatrist.
In 2012, Caroline returned to UUJ while working full time and gained qualifications at masters level in Rheumatological conditions affecting the lower limb and the Diabetic foot, obtaining a post graduate certificate in advancing practice. Caroline became the clinics specialist in diabetic foot care and developed a service that provided patients with an in-depth diabetic foot assessment. In the past year she began training as a work place Health Champion through a programme developed by Chest, Heart and Stroke, to help promote and support colleagues health and wellbeing. Caroline is originally from Holywood and is very happy to be back in her old stomping ground!
