Sarah qualified as a Registered Dietitian in 2001, and spent 15 years in London working in the NHS (Guy’s & St Thomas’, St George’s & Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals) followed by establishing her own private practice to fit in around her three children. She also held a lecturing post teaching MSc and BSc Nutrition and Sports Nutrition at St Mary’s University in London.

Sarah has recently returned to Northern Ireland and has joined the team at Active Health where she provides nutrition expertise to adult and child clients.

Sarah is experienced in all areas of nutrition and dietetics, specialising in gastroenterology, irritable bowel syndrome, food allergies and intolerances. She is an Accredited Sports Dietitian, and has worked with clients in Ulster rugby, London Irish rugby, GB gymnastics, WTA tennis, GB triathlon and athletics.

Dietitians are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat diet and nutrition problems.
