David Minion

davidminionDavid graduated from UUJ in 2001. Following on from graduating he worked in the NHS before leaving to work in private practice and with sports populations. He currently works at the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland and has impressive experience travelling to major championships with a wide range of elite sportsmen and women from a number of sports including Hockey, Rugby, Athletics, Squash, Judo, Cricket, Swimming, Gaelic football, Canoe slalom, Rowing and Wheelchair Basketball. He has a special interest in the field of motor control stability and its relationship with performance. In 2008 he won best abstract at the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine National Conference following his work on Motor control stability training with academy rugby players.
